Privacy
Short version: we collect what you give us so we can keep you informed and represent you, and we never sell it.
What we collect. When you sign up for updates, join, or contact us, we keep the name, email address, ZIP code, phone number, and message you provide, plus the date and the page you used. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not see or store card numbers.
How we use it. To send you WAC updates and action alerts, to tell you about proposals affecting lakes near your ZIP code, to administer membership, and to reply to your messages. Aggregate counts by region may be shared publicly or with policymakers ("1,200 members in Hennepin County"); your individual information is not.
Sharing. We do not sell or rent member information. Service providers that store or send email or process payments on our behalf receive only what they need to do that job.
Your choices. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to correct or delete your information at any time by writing to info@mnwac.org.
